As soon as company is faced with any legal issue, it would either call a solicitor or a paralegal. If reaching out to a solicitor is not easy, you can directly reach out to a paralegal, which is easier and the work would be done without delay. Many a time, businesses are not able to distinguish between a paralegal and a solicitor.

A paralegal is a qualified, trained and well educated person to perform all kinds of legal tasks. It can offer most of the legal assistance but not as good as a solicitor. Nonetheless, a paralegal can virtually do everything that a solicitor except for those activities that are termed as ‘reserved’.

There are no statutory regulations for the paralegals as it is there for solicitors, and thus, it is important to ask for evidences and qualifications of a paralegal before taking any kind of legal help from them.

Now, if we see from your perspective, you should keep all your documents and qualifications handy because when a client reaches out to you, you should be able to show him all the evidences and proofs that you can work for him the way you want.
